That's great....love it. WHAT is that Emily thingyinson (I think!) quote I am trying to think of.... it's a fave of mine and I can't even THINK! I could Google it but I'm too darn tired...tomorrow probably. "...perches in the soul and ... never...... at all"
You know what I mean! Hehe.

Actually, I read a study a while ago that tried to explain the reason birds are so noisy in the mornings. Essentially, it all boiled down to the fact that they were feeling grumpy. ;D

LOL, Brick. Hmmmm. I take after all birds then....night owls and reg. ol' ones....'cause I'm grumpy in the morning, too! I WISH I was a morning person, but I just canNOT get there!
PS...the quote was "Hope is a thing with feathers that perches in the soul, that sings the tune without the words and never stops at all." LOVE that.
I also liked when I saw it..."The soul should always stand ajar.Ready to welcome the ecstatic experience." -Emily thingyinson
and lastly, (for now!), "Time is Too slow for those who Wait, Too swift for those who Fear, Too long for those who Grieve, Too short for those who Rejoice, But for those who Love Time is not." -Henry Vand**e (1852-1933)
LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL at Emilythingyinson. Heheheheh ;D Didn't even think of that...was worth it to post just to see that. Hehehehe. M.
LOL too at the Blues singing bird...funny!

If you have ever listened to the birds in the tropics....they make more of their noises more in the dark and at night than any other time. It is wonderful to listen to the beauty of the birds singing because they do have a song.

LOVE Maya Angelou.... I started reading "I know why the caged bird sings" again. I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings The free bird leaps on the back of the win and floats downstream till the current ends and dips his wings in the orange sun rays and dares to claim the sky.
But a bird that stalks down his narrow cage can seldom see through his bars of rage his wings are clipped and his feet are tied so he opens his throat to sing.
The caged bird sings with fearful trill of the things unknown but longed for still and is tune is heard on the distant hillfor the caged bird sings of freedom
The free bird thinks of another breeze an the trade winds soft through the sighing trees and the fat worms waiting on a dawn-bright lawn and he names the sky his own.
But a caged bird stands on the grave of dreams his shadow shouts on a nightmare scream his wings are clipped and his feet are tied so he opens his throat to sing
The caged bird sings with a fearful trill of things unknown but longed for still and his tune is heard on the distant hill for the caged bird sings of freedom.

LOVE it, Wings. LOVE LOVE LOVE that last verse, especially. Thanks for sharing! M. (Where I live, the troops are comin' home within the week.....from Iraq. They've been gone over a year! Cool to see the ribbons all over and all the welcome home on the marquees!) *the "sings of freedom" made me think of it*
