I am FOR every living soul. I'm still working on this, but certainly fall short in this matter. If I were to be taken today, I would certainly need Jesus blood on the balance with me, on this issue and on most other issues.

I am for anyone gathering together to worship. The world will be a better place and hopefully we will be better people if we don't go against the Lord God and what he requires of us in our lives.

I am FOR every living soul. I believe this is the best answer that can be said to this question without truly committing yourself to any one group!
I am FOR and I am 2by2 (with unanswered questions) who truly believes that the 2by2 Faith is not exclusive and the only way to serve our Lord. I believe we are saved by Faith and not works and my belief was backed up this morning in our Meeting as a Brother spoke of this with two Sister Workers in the Meeting and neither had a hissy fit!Jn:3:16: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (KJV)God did not give His only begotten Son for the 2by2's or the Catholics or Mormons or Latter Day Saints, He gave His Son for whosoever (anybody!) that believes on Him. This is the Love that gives us Grace (Salvation) when we believe on Him and acknowledge His sacrifice for our sins!
Every religious group will have some tenants that some within the group will not agree with and either wish to change or leave because of them. The 2by2's are not the only religious group whose "exes" sometimes become "anti."
Any of us that know that any religion that has arbitrary rules that are outside the bounds of Scripture are difficult to follow or even understand once the Word has been opened to us by God Himself. Some are duped by spiritual leaders such as Rev. Jim Jones who persuaded most of his followers to drink poison Koolaid by twisting the Word into his word and taking the place of Jesus in his followers lives. The followers of David Koresh were duped into believing that he was either Jesus himself or a prophet worthy of deity. They died in flames and by gunshot.
Could I improve the 2by2's if I were to be an Overseer? Possibly, in MY opinion but then how many would disagree with MY interpretation?
People choose to be where they choose to be just because we have the freedom to do this in this country.
Why should anybody be against anybody just because someone chooses to worship in a different manner? While so many write (and with correct conviction) that we were not given edict by Jesus to continue to minister the same as He and His apostles, we can also say (and with correct conviction) that we were not given edict by Jesus to not continue to minister the same as He and His apostles.
As far as claims of abuse and child molestation, they are part of the twisted workings of some men in the Truth, the Work, Catholic Priesthood, Baptist Church, the US Congress, etc. They should all be handled the same. Turned over to the authorities, tried and hung as soon as possible!Peace Y'all,
SBB

Of course we are saved by faith (or to be more precise, believing.)
However Paul makes mention more than once that our faith will result in good works.
There is also a distinction made between good works via faith versus good works for another reason, e.g., good works for the purpose of being seen of men.
So while I believe we are saved by faith, I also am led to believe that there is such a thing as an empty faith, i.e., faith without works.
For myself, I would hope others can see and understand a little about my faith by seeing the working of God in my life as I go about my daily business.
Does this make sense?

You make perfect sense. We are saved by Faith. (believing) I was speaking of Faith and Saving Grace with my mother a few days ago. She has professed for over 45 years and still has a very sound mind. She does not remember of hearing a Worker preach of being saved by "Works" but rather by Faith. She has the same conviction as so many I know who are now "outside" and that is that the "Truth" is not exclusive no matter what is said on the podium!
I know a wonderful professing ex-Worker (health reasons) who insists that people such as Abe Lincoln may be saved because of their fear of God and their outstanding Faith in Jesus Christ. She has studied Abe and other historic people and their Spiritual lives. This woman puts being Spiritual above being religious.
I am not a judge of Spirit as Jesus is. I can see that you are a Faithful servant and only wish to prove your Faith by your works. This is all we are asked to do.Peace in Him,
Rick
