This board needs some excitement so, I guess we could get started addressing the terrible mess that is among the workers, friends, law and meetings. A big scoop shovel would be one way to start getting the mess taken care of. Some in high places need to know what it is like to be in a low place. They then would understand what compassion, love, mercy and caring is all about and how necessary it is to have those qualifications. Telling the truth is a good way to start. So, how about everyone pulling up their boot straps, and take on the chore of cleaning up and restoring some dignity to God's Way.

This whole "mess" is way too much for me to comprehend from the reports that I have scanned. What exactly should be done? If you had divine powers, what would you do the set things straight?

Everyone has to wait for the dust to settle, I believe it's going to be a lot longer process than many ever perceived, with the assumption of 200 accused.
Then sifting through of who or what is prosecutable, and then just because one is not prosecuted may not really mean they are, in fact, innocent but that there is inadequate evidence to prove beyond a reasonable doubt may forever linger for those lives, like O.J. saga.
So who knows, I know not me. I think those who profess in Michigan will compare notes at the upcoming conventions, so more should be made available by September 1.
Don't whisper to White Knight about this board.

White Knight? Why not? You can reply by PM if you'd prefer.
I don't have the patience to sift through all the posts that come from the emotions rather than factual knowledge about this Michigan thing. It is such an emotional topic that every one wants to say something about it when the only thing they really have to say is that the idea is repulsive. No doubt. Those of us with children can easily imagine having a child abused, taken advantage like that. But, if that is all you have to say, put it in a thread with a topic like "Why I hate sexual exploitation of children."

Well the big problem with the Michigan case is the issue of false accusations vs real. There are so many named on the list of alleged offenders and it appears to me that when there is not enough" evidence" it is thrown out and therefore it gives rise to whether it was a false allegation or not. Having a case thrown out for lack of evidence IMO does not mean the accused was innocent.
I DO believe however that it was the fact that Ira Hobbs' name came up on that very same list, that Ray was motivated to send a letter out. I really don't think it would have happened otherwise. They (the workers) dont want the authorities investigating anything so with the fellowship. Anyway, regardless of the reason "why" he did it, the fact is he did. Even though the letter in itself is very deficient. Its a good start.

Workers need to learn how to not take sides and let the court do its thing.
