Anybody ever read any of this guy's work? Well, anyone that still comes here, that is. It seems that this place has pretty much been abandoned.

No, I have never heard of this person. What can you tell me about him? (Well, I suppose I could do a Google . . . )
RE: this particular message board . . . I like it better than TMB, but I agree - many people have abandoned it.

In case you didn't google, what I'm reading about is freeing the mind from all conditioning in order to see ourselves as we are. Since we essentially are the problem in most issues, it is imperative to rid ourselves of all suppositions and historic influence, mental patterns, upbringing, etc.
Here is something I like: "Self awareness is the beginning of wisdom." Does that ring a bell? Reminiscent of "The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom." I'm thinking of a new meaning of the "fear of God." What if it is simply an awareness of our self, our weakness, but at the same time, an understanding of God, the infinite being. How frail we are against that!
