I think it is semi official that Barry Barkley moves to NY/New England, Leslie White to IN/IL, and Jim Price to Colorado. Don't expect this to happen until around the new year.

Howdy, I think this is due to a death in New York isn't it? But....... When the dust settles my bet is that there will be another missing face amongst the overseers. Just my guess/kinda sorta based on what I know.... Scott

Barry has been around here for a long time... I know he'll be missed. Change is good sometimes though. I havent met Leslie but I have heard him preach.

Same here, Wings, with regard to Leslie. I guess the whole thing leaves a vacancy up in ND. Those guys don't need an overseer anyway. The whole place is frozen solid from November to March, so they can just have someone fill in during the summer.

I couldnt believe it when it snowed!!!! I have to say though, I think sitting in the cold at convention is easier than sitting in 106 degrees of yucky humid heat at Seneca! I remember my first convention in the US in 1987 and it was over 100. Being from Ireland, I thought I was going to die (blood too thick!). I remember bringing 4-5 styrofoam glasses of water into the meeting with me. Back then it was a big no no to have water bottles. I noticed this year, everyone had them! Oh the things we suffered....

I asked if we could and was told that you have to go out to the water fountain if you need water. Its a distraction for the workers they said! No one had water bottles in the meeting. Candy, yes but drinks no. Rebel that I was, I found a seat near the window that had a great wide ledge on it. So I lined up all my cups....... :-)
